Great expectations for the Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni Fashion Shows.
Raf Simons, at the end of the Prada autumn/winter 23/24 collection, full of details for the brides, stated: “Why should love be celebrated only for a day? It can be celebrated every day!” And indeed the collection uses the codes for the garments for the special occasions, weddings and evenings, mixing them with everyday elements.
Details, such as a flower embroidered and applied on a white skirt, add a twist to the simple and essential crew-neck sweater. A tribute also to high fashion and to the value of craftsmanship. There has been much discussion about the value of the catwalk from a communication point of view and the fact that all major designers have resumed fashion shows in person after the reopening is a more than an answer.
This is an important sign now that the next year collections will make their debut at Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni: first and foremost the ones from Elisabetta Polignano, godmother of Made in Italy, in a calendar of events that also includes ceremony and men’s wear, from Friday to Sunday. Debutting with a special capsule for the event is Chiara Boni White who, not surprisingly, has a heart incorporated in her logo. A series of unconventional garments, as the designer is, which are also perfect for a change or a bachelorette party that, while celebrating universal codes such as white, details, and a romantic twist, do so in stretch fabrics not afraid of travel or wrinkling.
The novelty of this edition is the possibility, even for the public, to attend some of the fashion shows upon purchasing the tickets online. In addition to Chiara Boni White, Mysecret, Rara Avis and Musani Cuture. Please, note that the ticket will grant access to the hall but not the event, which is reserved for buyers and press. Also on the catwalk, directed by Alessandro Mazzini, are Michela Ferriero, Emiliano Bengasi Couture and Pure, Julia Kontogruni, Dovita, Global Bridal House (Modeca, Gbs Herve Paris, Libelle Bridal, Randy Fenoli Bridal), Kigili, Amelia Casablanca, and Andrea Versali.
An opportunity not to miss to feel the thrill of emotions again.
