Communicating sustainability to customers

Peter Langner

At the age of twenty-four, Peter Langner moved from his hometown of Hanover to Paris to follow his passion for fashion and study at the prestigious Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. He collaborates with some of the most renowned French fashion houses: Christian Lacroix. Emanuel Ungaro, Guy LaRoche and Christian Dior. In 1989, he founded his eponymous brand in Rome; this marks the beginning of an independent and creative path that will allow him to be known worldwide as one of the names of excellence in the bridal sector. In 2015 he opened his atelier in Milan, where he also moved production, establishing the brand's official headquarters in the Milanese city. This strategic choice reflects her constant commitment to following trends and adapting to the dynamics of the market by following its evolution. It is at the forefront of reducing waste in the fashion industry. Some fabric scraps are reused for different processing than what they were originally subjected to. For packaging, it has begun supplying garment covers made of compostable materials that, once they reach their end-of-life, can be disposed of in separate waste collection. The mission is also to involve our employees and customers around the world in these kinds of initiatives.
