Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni: weddings seen from the captivate generation Z point of view

The Show confirms its role as an observatory of the most current trends, thanks also to a specific focus on young people. Present  at the exhibition the projects by students from IED Milano and ITS ITSCosmo Fashion Academy."

Generation Z is getting married. it's not a joke because young people are closer to the altar than ever before and, compared to the millennials who preceded them, they have a more conservative view of couple relationships, while maintaining a progressive approach to rights and gender identity. this is confirmed by a survey conducted by the british newspaper "the times" which shows how girls and boys aged between 18 and 27 place great value on marriage, considering an important social institution but to be experienced in a more personal, less conventional way.

No more fleeting one night stands, therefore, but a lasting commitment to which to devote themselves with passion and romance according to a perspective that sì sposaitalia collezioni observes closely, without fitting it into rigid schemes, but accompanying the dialogue on the new facets of the concept of marriage.

"A concrete example of this vision can also be seen in the collaborations that the event carries out, edition after edition, among which this year we find the one with the students of ied milano and itscosmo fashion academy, who belong to generation z and as such, are the perfect litmus test of their expectations on marriage and the style that accompanies it. their very idea of weddings moves away from tradition to embrace authenticity, uniqueness and above all originality, giving life to exclusive moments also through new look proposals."

His theme is at the heart of the "ied for fieramilano – sì sposaitalia" project, created with the aim of conceiving and producing video stories dedicated to dresses for special occasions, from the red carpet to exclusive events and ceremonies. the best work, selected from those presented by the 24 students of the master in fashion communication&styling (aa 24/25) - coordinated by giuliana parabiago - through the reworking of images, drawings or sketches created from scratch, will be awarded during sì sposaitalia collezioni, scheduled from 14 to 16 april at Allianz MiCo.

"The students of itscosmo will instead be protagonists of the dress (re)code project, which will showcase the presentation of 6 exclusive garments, inspired by the dress code of special occasions but reinterpreted according to their creativity."

Two special activities  confirming  how the event is not only a showcase of bridal excellence, but also a privileged point of observation on the cultural evolutions of marriage.
