The value of Made in Italy in display at Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni

From the 25th to 27th of June Sposaitalia Collezioni presented the work of the skilled hands that daily create dresses for weddings and ceremonies as one of the highest expressions of Made in Italy. Crafts that are rooted in tradition but that develop thanks to continuous intuitions and new technologies, bringing value to the Italian and international fashion world.

And specifically the most precious creations, rich in details and yet contemporary, were the protagonists of Sì Italian Touch, one of the new areas of Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni dedicated to those brands that boast an authentically Italian style such as Amelia Casablanca, Bellantuono Bridal Group, Blumarine, Ottofiori, Daphne Milano, Via della Spiga Milano, Maison Signore, Andrea Versali and Laura Biagiotti.

Collections for buyers interested in hand-crafted, sustainable creations featuring accurate tailoring. "I opened the store in October with a few Israeli designers; now I want to look for Italian brands,” says Jessica Vargas from Definition Bridal (USA). “When we talk about made in Italy, we immediately think about tailor solutions and quality of fabrics. Brides who ask for Italian dresses are looking for the best."

Also Manjong Belle from The Boutique by B.Belle Events (USA) says that "Italian designers have a special gift for designing wedding dresses. My customers who buy Made in Italy do so to feel unique, special and very fashionable."

Italian brands have a particular care for the product where details make all the difference. "It is an economic and social value loved by the whole world but also the Italians appreciate it and demand it,” says Massimo Precoma from Maria Pia Creazioni. "Obviously, we start with the raw material: high quality fabrics, sometimes not the ones traditionally used in the wedding dresses sector; and therein lies our ability to know how to work them and transform them into something different."

But quality is sought after not only in the wedding sector but also in the ceremonies one. "Made in Italy means the use of elegant materials and aesthetics designed to create harmony between the dress and the body,” says Daniela Del Cima from Daphne Milano. She adds: "The culture of beauty is a typical Italian trait and we, the stylists, have the task of promoting it and explaining it to our customers. Whether it is a wedding dress or a dress for a big event."
