Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni ready to take off again with the 2024 edition

Bridal industry's benchmark event date, scheduled from 5 to 8 April 2024 in Milan (Allianz Mico)

From 5 to 8 April, Sposaitalia Collezioni is back with its 2024 edition: the aim is to create an increasingly attractive business occasion for the many souls of the bridal segment and to outline a rich, multi-faceted and ever-changing universe. An unfolding journey that confirms the kermesse's ability to involve the most important players worldwide, established companies and niche brands, acting as a collector of top buyers and Italian and international industry professionals.

The next edition will feature many novelties, while keeping the event's identity formula unchanged, combining attention to global trends, quality and selection.

Made In and the emergence of new narrative areas

Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni updates its dress right from the exhibition layout, which has been refined and studied to reflect a vision of comparison and thoroughness of the offer in order to offer visitors an increasingly exhaustive overview of the bridal, groom, ceremony and accessories universe. Priority, in this sense, is given to the focus on MADE IN, a feature capable of revealing the increasingly global dimension of the kermesse in which the leitmotif is the enhancement of boundless creativity from all over the world. The Milan event is still the main stage for Italian brands, but also a showcase for the best international designers. The presence of the brand Justin Alexander, which selected Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni as the only Italian stop to present its new collections and organise an exclusive fashion show, fits perfectly within this scenario. Justin Alexander made its début on the bridal fashion scene in Brooklyn, New York in 1946, a time when women were leaving behind the idea of clothing as a mere necessity and embracing fashion as a way to express femininity, confidence and beauty. From his humble roots, Justin Alexander has become a contemporary designer and manufacturer of mid-to-high-end wedding dresses and accessories. Each model is distinctively recognised for its vintage inspiration combined with progressive accents. With exceptional quality and elegant style, Justin Alexander's designs have won accolades and have dressed brides all over the world, enabling the company to become one of the most influential bridal fashion manufacturers in America and Europe.

The exhibition itinerary of the event is enriched by introducing a number of new features, including a new exhibition area dedicated to UNCONVENTIONAL trends, in which the lively world of capsule collections in bridal&accessories is showcased. The selection of brands on display follows both research criteria that favoured niche and lesser known brands with total look proposals, ranging from jewellery to accessories.

A broader look at the world of the ceremony tout court is dedicated to EVENING DRESS, the section of Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni that explores the increasingly significant segment in terms of the evening dress market, declined in all its possible uses: from Prom night, increasingly popular also in Europe, to the second dress after cake-cutting, passing through the cocktail party after the ceremony. IFTA will be our special guest partner for this new project, which for the past five years has organised the IFTA EVENING SHOW, the show dedicated exclusively to evening outfits with a focus on Italian sartorial excellence.

The meeting room of Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni, amidst conversations and new trends

The bridal universe is at the centre of those constant changes that need to be investigated and understood in order to provide useful knowledge, business and training opportunities for its players. Space is therefore given to a talk show program involving international speakers and including topical and contemporary themes and reflections. We will talk about 2025 trends, sustainability and beauty, in all its many interpretations, giving voice and space to future generations of designers.

And it is precisely young talents who will play a prominent role in a green perspective for an exhibition project based on upcycling that involves the study and realisation of a 'formal dress' starting with the use of wedding dresses. The garments made will be featured in a showcase area at the event.

Fashion Shows, live events to experience the collections

The strong attractiveness of Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni is also the result of the high visibility factor ensured by its appointments, among which its calendar of fashion shows is a must. A three-day fashion show that will feature the top players in the sector, including established and celebrated new entries.

The appointment with Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni will be in Milan (Allianz Mico) from 5 to 8 April 2024.
