ALICE IN THE WONDERLAND: THE DIAMOND COUTURE BRIDE CHOOSES A SUSTAINABLE FAIRYTALE FOR A NATURALLY GREEN WEDDING DAY

The #SIGREENBRIDAL project – an evolution of Sì White Carpet by Sposaitalia Collezioni taking place at fieramilanocity on 17 April as part of Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni (17-20 April) - will see sustainable brides take to the catwalk with their unique spirit, the result of partnerships between bridal houses and producers of green fabrics and yarns. The eco-friendly capsule collections will feature show-stopping dresses that take nothing away from the extravagance and magic of the wedding day, for a fairytale atmosphere that is also sustainable.

Diamond Couture has created seven looks for this environmentally-friendly bridal&ceremony project and gives its fanciful yet forward-looking vision the evocative name of “Alice in The Wonderland”. The atelier’s all-Italian craftsmanship adds up to the lavish, regal elegance, where tradition meets innovation and the avant-garde, telling the tale of a green-spirited bride. And it is the timeless fabrics of the bridal universe - silk tulle, chiffon, crepon, georgette, taffeta - that express this new awareness, all 100% natural, recycled or sustainable, and guaranteed with important certification.

In fact, while the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX® certification guarantee a sound production chain, the decision by a fashion house to use green products such as 100% recycled polyester yarns and Natulon Eco-Friendly zips in their accessories ensures authentic and totally sustainable style.
