What kind of year will it be?
A favourable one, say the analysts; a positive one, say the observers.
The signs are many after a period in limbo and a period of caution, now it is the time for a period full of everything: the wish to be together, to live and experience, to make choices.
And to get married.
Wedding planners rejoice as they finally have their schedules fully booked, locations are being organised accordingly, and fairytale-style castles in particular. Getting married is fashionable, considering that even the Maneskin, to launch their new album “Rush”, organised a ceremony almost in full regalia, celebrated by none other than Alessandro Michele, outgoing creative director of Gucci: total white, veil, dress, and suit.
Beyond the numbers that look promising, this 2023 will focus on feelings rather than the formality of the ceremonies. More intimate and less big parties where attention to guests, to detail, and to quality prevails and there is a trend not to focus everything on the “big day”, but to multiply the events: from the engagement party to the Christmas Eve dinner, from the brunch the day after to an experience to be had together before completing the celebrations. There is a green evolution in the sense of greater attention to reducing waste, but also a wish for special locations, decorated with plants and flowers. “Wow” will be the exclamation for the dress of the bride, the groom and the guests. The latter, boosted by this year's Pantone colour - Viva Magenta - will choose bold, full, and intense hues abandoning the pastels, the dusty, and the watercolours. A great year.
